Happy Easter Planet X inhabitants! We had a good, uneventful night here. No seizure, which is fine because he had such a great one on Saturday morning. Dr. Rodriguez said that it was “beautiful”. All the activity happened on the right side and it began in the central parietal lobe. He was happy that it happened while Lincoln was awake. Not much new news here, just confirmation. He’s going back on meds today so he’ll be up to dosage for the surgery. We had a pretty big talk this morning about why it would be a good idea to get the use of his left hand back and why he may need it in life.
Last night at bedtime I tucked his heart blanket around him and said, “Now it’s like all of your teachers are hugging you while you sleep,” and he said, “Ohhhh!” like it was a huge realization for him – he got it, and he was so touched, huge smile.
I had a shower and feel fantastic. The hospital is putting on an Easter Brunch – which we are headed to right now! Then back for a sponge bath for Lincoln….(pewweee!) We know how to celebrate!
