FACES is the organization that provided us with places to stay while Lincoln has been in the city for his transformation. Clicking the logo will take you to their "Make A Difference" webpage (from here you can explore their whole site) and I encourage you all to check it out. FACES provided an apartment for Stephanie and me to stay in this past week, (during the first week and also starting today they arranged for us to stay in a hotel room nearby). They provide these rooms, just like Ronald McDonald house, free of charge, or at a reduced rate, to out-of-town families with loved ones in hospitals here. I know it's too late for 2009 taxes, but it's never too late to plan for 2010 taxes! They definitely accept contributions (I'm 99% sure that they are tax-deductible.. you should read their info!) I know that I don't have to spell it out for you, but without their assistance neither one of us would have had a decent night's sleep AT ALL this week.. not to mention a nice clean shower, and a place for Eva to sleep, too! Their assistance has been a HUGE help and relief and the people from FACES are amazing and wonderful, as you might have guessed! Thanks :-)
