Update 7:22
Ok, I just called the Recovery Wing, and he's not there yet.. the woman called the OR and he's still in the OR.... PLEASE PRAY!!!! Idk what's taking so long?? But she also said he won't be going to recovery... these patients go straight to PICU
EDITORS NOTE: I just went back in the blog to see when Lincoln actually went in... He went in at noon.. 4-6 hours for surgery would be 6 pm.. at least a half hour for the anesthesiologist (??) and another half hour to get him situated in PICU would be 7... oh crap... I thought I had an extra hour in there?? Oh well, just telling ourselves to keep on chillin' til 8
:)
You said 5-7 hours before so it's only been 6 and a half since 1:00 when it started right?
ReplyDeletePrayers will continue of course!
Just saw your editors note!
ReplyDeleteChillin is good.
xo
Gosh I am praying so hard like the day he was born. There are so many angels watching over him, please keep posting!!
ReplyDeleteWe have people all over the country prying for Lincoln. Keep Strong!
ReplyDeleteWaiting is the hardest part guys......you know that, right?? Prayers are coming fast and furious.....we love you all.......
ReplyDeleteThe longer the better, Howard is taking his time. Don't worry. They will take him straight to PICU, and call you in when he is de-wired and de-tubed. No doubt someone will come out and tell you when he's heading up. He's so close now, it's all just tidying up. If there were complications, it would have happened before now. The PICU is fabulous, with hot and cold running nurses. You're almost there!! What a fabulous day for Lincoln and your family!
