Nothing much to report here. Lattes have been downed. Ritalin comes at 11pm. We played a game of checkers (fun) and ate Boston Cream donuts (half the calories of muffins). I read a bit of the Percy Jackson book to him, then the baby next door started crying and we couldn't hear ourselves. NYC has the calories of every food listed by it's price - i love this!!! Very eye opening (donut less than a bagel). I like that Micheal Bloomberg is paid $1/year, and the calorie counting. That's enough, right?
So whats a twinkie? $500.00? ;)

ReplyDeletethis should be interesting to see what we consume in the few days that Eva and I are with you. Do the calories count if there is not a count posted beside the item? ONLY TIME WILL TELL. (Did you read the article about the hotel) we have to remove our shoes when we enter the room. Eva should get a hoot with this one. When you Andy and Murph come to visit (if-when) I can see the disaster now.

Hi all! we should really spend a day in ny just counting calories...i really do love this...how enlightening...who knew that a boston cream donut had less calories than a LOW FAT blueberry muffin.
