Back at Columbia Teachers College for RESEARCH!

Well hello, and welcome back, dear reader!

Presently we are in Manhattan.
It is summer, it is hot, and Lincoln is working his tail off again.
He is back at Columbia Teachers College attending an intensive rehabilitation camp for kids who have had hemispherectomies.
It is actually a research study in which he is blessed enough to be involved.
Perhaps you remember he was here last summer too?

The camp began on Monday, June 22, 2015 at 9am on the dot.
He works, truly WORKS, for six hours a day for a total of 90 hours of intensive therapy.
BRILLIANT!
It is Thursday and already his  interventionists see improvement in his ablitlity to use his thumb in grasping certain objects.
(When I get in the swing of things I will post videos)

There are two notable changes in the camp experience this year for Lincoln, they are:
1.  Both upper and lower body (affected limbs on his left side) are being targeted
2.  Because of the EXTREMELY intensive nature of the camp this year, he does not have to engage in an hour of homework each night.

This is Lincoln after his first day of camp on Monday.
He was EXHAUSTED.
